21.04.2017, Cochin: Kerala beauty, Mrs. Lakshmi Atul participated and won the Mrs India – Face of South and the Mrs Intelligent titles at Mrs India – Queen of Substance 2017.

The Beauty pageant organised by Adiva Innovations  is the most reputable beauty pageant in India for married women who strive to be graceful, elegant, charismatic,and honourable in the representation of India both at home and around the world. The competition was organised over three days from 12th to 14th April 2017 at ITC Welcome Hotel, Delhi.

Mrs. Lakshmi Atul was the only representative from Kerala amongst the 44 contestants who competed in the prestigious event. Expressing her delight on winning the titles Mrs. Atul said “I feel extremely honoured and elated to have been conferred with this honour today. Being from Kerala, a state known for its literacy rate and gender equality, being conferred as Mrs. Intelligent have brought me double the joy and jubilation. I just want to let all my fellow women know that marriage is actually the beginning of your journey to all your dreams. It is all about believing in yourself and staying positive.”

Mrs. Lakshmi Atul, is the Vice President of Aries Group of Companies, a multi-national consortium of 45 companies spread over 15 countries. She is also the Vice President of the prestigious Indywood Film Carnival, a film and trade extravaganza conceptualized to integrate and transform the Indian film industry and to place it above Hollywood within 5 years. In addition to the above portfolios, she is also the Head of the Oscar Awards Consultancy and the film festival promotion divisions and is often connoted as the rising star of Aries Group of Companies.

A University Rank holder in her engineering graduation, a Gold Medal winner in her engineering post graduation, one among five women who hold the esteemed ASNT Level III certification in India and having been shortlisted for the interviews of the Civil Service Examination, intelligence is written all over the profile of Mrs. Lakshmi Atul who has been a qualified professional with over 10 years of industrial exposure.

Throughout her professional career, Mrs Lakshmi Atul has been fortunate enough to have been exposed to various challenging and exciting projects which have helped her realise her potential while grooming her into the confident woman she is now. She worked as the Research Head for the documentary “Dams – the lethal water bombs”, on Mullaperiyar dam which received over 23 international recognitions, “DAM 999”, an international movie which was shortlisted for the Oscar Awards in addition to various international honours, “NAVARASA”, a fashion show based on the concept of navarasams which was held at Cochin, “P25”, a unique collection of 25 innovative projects and products estimated to be  worth US$25 million and “Somali Piracy” a documentary on piracy at sea. She always found the time to contribute as a tutor at Aries International Maritime Research Institute, research for more than a hundred technical programs for Marine Biz TV, anchoring a few in house programs and events and even featured in a handful of TV advertisements.

Her contributions at the professional front have been enviable and the same is true regarding her societal contributions.  Mrs Atul has been proactive in raising public voice and funds for social causes including the “Saving Sinking Kerala movement” for Mullaperiyar dam. She has been closely associated with the mobilization of resources for the physically challenged and under privileged children and the elderly in our society. She regularly participates in Half Marathons aimed at raising awareness regarding various social issues. She championed a “One Day Salary Challenge” to aid the victims of the Nepal Earthquake which helped amass over 10 lac rupees in aid.

Mrs. Lakshmi Atul has a daring spirit and a gritty determination to achieve her goals and dreams. She is dogged in her efforts and never backs down from a challenge. She is a beacon for women around the world who have an insatiable desire to chase their dreams.
