ഫോമാ ക്രൂസ് കണ്‍ വന്‍ഷന്‍ റദ്ദാക്കിയ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില്‍ രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്ത എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും മുഴുവന്‍ തുകയും ഈ മാസം തിരിച്ചു നല്‍കും. ജൂലൈ 31 വരെയുള്ള എല്ലാ യാത്രയും റദ്ദാക്കിയതായി റോയല്‍ കരിബിയന്‍ ക്രൂസ് ലൈനും അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു.
കപ്പല്‍ കമ്പനി തന്നെ യാത്ര റദ്ദാകിയതിനാലാണു മുഴുവന്‍ തുകയും തിരിച്ചു കിട്ടുന്നത്. അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവര്‍ 200 ഡോളര്‍ ഫീസ് ഈടാക്കുമായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് ജനറല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി ജോസ് ഏബ്രഹാമിന്റെ കുറിപ്പില്‍ (താഴെ) പറയുന്നു.
അതേ സമയം ജനറല്‍ ബോഡി ചേരുന്നതും പുതിയ ഇലക്ഷന്‍ നടത്തുന്നതും സംബന്ധിച്ച തീരുമാനം ഇനി വരാനുണ്ട്. ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ടീമിന്റെ കാലാവധി ഒക്ടോബര്‍ വരെയാണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ കണ്‍ വന്‍ഷനിലാണു ഈ ടീം സത്യപ്രതിഞ്ജ ചെയ്തത്
FOMAA Royal Cruise Convention Cancellation Update from Royal
Dear Registrant,
We thank you for your resilient patience as we all work to create that
“new normal” through this pandemic. We had notified you all on April
7th, that FOMAA had officially decided to cancel the cruise
convention. If we immediately cancelled and applied for a refund with the Royal
Cruise line during that time, all participants would have been subject to a
$200 fee charge in order to get a refund.
The FOMAA National Committee have convened and instructed Convention Chair,
Biju Lawson to work towards getting everyone a full refund.
As of this week, Royal Caribbean has announced all sailings departing
on or before July 31st, 2020 will be cancelled, and as such, we are now subject
to getting everyone their FULL REFUND amount without any cancellation
fees. FOMAA is NOT opting for a future cruise credit. Due to the
high volume of calls and shortage of staff – the refunds will take
approximately 3-4 weeks to reflect on the account you used to make the
payment.
Even though it is really difficult to pin down an exact date of the refund, you
can expect your paid amount to reflect your refund on or before June 30th as
per the Royal Caribbean. Further, we advise if you haven’t received your refund
