Special Guest Hollywood Actor And Christian Activist Stephen Baldwin has confirmed to attend the event to honor George John Kalloor.
NY- based ECHO (Enhance Community Through Harmonious Outreach) has selected George John Kalloor as the recipient of the 2022 Humanitarian Award. George was selected for his notable charity work and giving. Echo is a charitable organization which quietly makes valuable contributions to help the needy all around the world.

This award goes to one of the most deserving person out there, George John has been helping others with his own money for decades without anyone finding out. He came into the limelight suddenly when he started working with the Magic Planet Trust led by Dr. Gopinath Muthukad (magician). In a speech, Muthukad revealed the work done by him and also his contribution to Magic Planet.

Though John may not like the publicity, it will help inspire others to take up charitable causes, Dr. Thomas Mathew, one of the founders of ECHO, mentioned.

John, a native of Kerala, moved to America 39 years ago. His sister Kunjamma Pappan in Yonkers was the sponsor. John continued his studies and later took a job as a corrections officer. In the 1990s, prominent realtor Dominic Samuel invited him into the real estate world. In 1994, he stepped into the field of real estate. Once he recognized this calling, he took an early retirement from the NYS Department of Corrections in 2000 and concentrated on real estate and construction.

He took over as the Principal Broker and as the new owner of Century 21 Royal in Scarsdale, Westchester, NY. He was not carried away by the success. He found that it gave him a chance to help more people. Earlier he could only help a few people and the contributions were proportionate. Initially, the aid was provided only in Kerala, but later it was extended to Bihar, Orissa, Delhi and Nepal. He visited many places as part of missions activities and found many suffering people, which inspired him to help them as much as he can. He is the Director of Kalayapuram Ashraya Charitable Society in Kerala. Many charity activities are done through it.

He also came forward to help Haiti, when an earthquake devastated the country. There is also charity work in Yonkers through the Yonkers Rotary Club. He is also the president-elect of the Yonkers Rotary Club.

His parents Kalloor KC John and Saramma are not alive. His wife, Susan George, is a supervisor at Westchester County Government. His eldest daughter Simi George lives in Alabama with her husband Benson Isaac and daughter Elizabeth Isaac. His younger daughter Julie George is a speech pathologist.

He said his charity work is supported by his family. He said he has kept enough for the family. John’s philosophy is to give the remaining to the needy. He started giving small amounts from poverty. When he got more, he started giving more. He says he does not want any fame from any of it, rather everything is to be done for the glory of God.

He is also not interested in turning this into an organization. So he did not establish any charitable organization or trust. There is no tax breaks for the charity contributions.

For the past 29+ years 40+ agents works with his Century 21 Royal group. He will continue to do so as long as he can and he plans to donate everything after his personal needs for charity.

John found the videos and lectures presented by the magician Muthukad to be very intriguing. Community Leader Paul Karukappillil introduced him to Muthukad. He got to know him and they developed a friendship thereafter. John said he felt an urge to collaborate with Muthukad and Magic Planet. Muthukad confirmed Johns work and involvement with his charity and all the contributions he has made.
